Position Overview:
In the Technical Support Engineer role, you will be one of Bullhorn Professional Services’ highest points of contact for our clients in resolving highly complex technical and application related inquiries regarding Bullhorn’s software product. You will strategically partner with our clients to deliver world-class technical and application support.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Enterprise clients to resolve highly complex software and technical issues.
Partner with Bullhorn’s Technology/Software Development team and Bullhorn’s Professional Services Engineers to resolve advanced custom code and API issues.
Resolve escalated customer issues without the need for Technical Team Lead intervention.
Document troubleshooting and problem resolution steps.
Perform Quality Engineering activities for custom code developed by Professional Services Engineering to validate functionality.
Document required bug fixes and end-user feature improvements.
Key Position Requirements:
B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics from an accredited University or College
Must have experience providing API guidance
Must have programming experience
Must have strong knowledge of the following:
Windows, Linux and general desktop support issues
Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP and other networking concepts
Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts.
Knowledge web technologies (HTML, JavaScript)
Must be a highly creative, curious technologist and problem solver
Must have excellent listening and research skills
Must have strong documentation skills, verbal and written skills
Must have the ability to empathize with customers and convey confidence
