Reporting directly to the Director of Development Services, the Software Engineer(Professional Services) will be responsible for the creation of new software features for clients during pre-implementation of Bullhorn’s industry-leading and award winning Software-as-a-Service offering for the Staffing and Recruiting industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development of client-specific web-based applications, systems integration and custom application development.
Act as an individual contributor on the team, designing, specifying and developing software components and/or applications.
Develop both front and back end applications using a variety of platforms.
Interface with Solution Architects and Project Management on a daily basis.
Key Position Requirements:
Must have a Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or related field required
Must have a minimum of 4 years of software development experience
Must have experience developing web-based applications.
Must have direct experience with User Interface design using CSS, Ajax and JavaScript
Must have direct experience programming in one or more of the following languages o C# o Java
Must have database programming experience, preferably Microsoft SQL Server
Must have strong object oriented design skills
Must have solid oral and written presentation skills and a demonstrated ability to clearly articulate and defend design decisions to a wide audience.
Must have demonstrated ability to work independently within a team environment.
Must have strong problem solving skills
